Three-Headed Fight in Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix

Round 10 of the 2025 Formula 1 Championship has descended upon Montreal, with the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

One of the fastest tracks on the F1 calendar, this weekend’s race should bring even greater excitement with a three-prong title fight further unfolding every race weekend.

With five wins in nine races, and the lead in the Drivers’ Championship, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri is an unsurprising favourite to take victory in Canada, at +125*. Piastri’s teammate, and closest challenger in the title fight, slots in close behind, with Lando Norris a +175 contender to win his third race of the season.

Rounding out the top-three favourites, and the only other driver with odds shorter than 15/1, is four-time Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen at +400. Though Red Bull, as a team, have bordered dysfunction in 2025, Verstappen remains capable of the incredible at any track – as evidenced by his three pole positions and two victories this season.

A win might be out of reach for Lewis Hamilton this weekend, but after three straight top-six finishes, the GOAT could find himself on the podium for the first time as a Ferrari driver. A season of steady improvements sees Hamilton at +300, and one of seven drivers with odds shorter than 50/1, to stand on the podium after Sunday’s race.

From a tense fight at the front of the grid, to a resurgent all-time great, the Canadian Grand Prix is set to deliver a thrilling weekend of racing.
