Superstars Battle to Lead NFL in Receiving in 2026
In star power and in salary, wide receivers have become among the most prominent players across the league. In a pass-happy NFL, these superstars dominate Sunday's week-in, week-out. But, with a rich field of elite players, there’s no shortage of contenders to lead the league in receiving, highlighted by a six-pack of stars.
Puka Nacua (+550)
It has been nearly 20 years of Matthew Stafford serving as a wide receiver kingmaker, and that’s showing no signs of slowing down after Nacua’s 1715-yard season in 2025. One of the most efficient receivers in league history in terms of yards per route run, Nacua is primed for another massive season, provided the NFL doesn’t hit him with a suspension for a series of off-field incidents.
Ja’Marr Chase (+600)
There’s no more deadly QB-WR combination than that of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. The long-time teammates will lead an elite offense in 2026, provided the Bengals’ offensive line can keep Burrow clean and upright. In that scenario, it’s easy to see Chase leading the league in receiving, and Cincinnati making noise in a deep AFC.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+640)
Last year’s Offensive Player of the Year exploded in his first season as the Seahawks’ No. 1 wide receiver, posting 1793 yards en route to the Super Bowl. Firmly established as an elite wideout, the only question around Smith-Njigba lies with Seattle’s transition from Klint Kubiak to Brian Fleury as offensive coordinator.
Amon-Ra St. Brown (+950)
The safety blanket of all safety blankets, St. Brown is as steady an operator as it gets in the NFL. The Lions’ offense is primed to return to elite status after a slight dip in 2025, but, like Jahmyr Gibbs in the backfield, St. Brown could take a hit due to the talent around him, with Jameson Williams’ ascension opposite him hard to ignore.
CeeDee Lamb (+1100)
A high-ankle sprain and a career year from teammate George Pickens saw Lamb post the second-lowest total of his career last year, just barely crossing 1000 yards. But, with high expectations around the Cowboys’ offense and Pickens still in place to help Lamb avoid double teams and work out of the slot with more frequency, a massive bounce back season out of one of the league’s best receivers is on the horizon.
Justin Jefferson (+1200)
Still the king of receivers in the NFL, Jefferson suffered through dysfunctional quarterback play a year ago. While Kyler Murray isn’t a sure-fire solution, he can at least provide stability for the Vikings’ offense, and reliably get the ball to their best player. Jefferson’s 90.2 yards per game is the second-highest mark in league history, and it should get a bump after a dip in 2025.
