What is the AFC North? 

The AFC North (American Football Conference North) is the Northern division of the AFC, itself a division of the NFL (National Football League). 

The NFL, the most popular football league in the world, is composed of several geographical divisions in order to limit travel time for games. 

 

In 2022, the AFC is composed of four conferences: 

  • North 

  • South 

  • East 

  • West 

 All of these divisions contain four teams.
