UFC’s Pay-Per-View Era Comes to a Close With a Bang

The UFC’s final pay-per-view event, before it transitions to Paramount+, promises to deliver with a pair of title fights headlining UFC 323 in Las Vegas this weekend.

Dvalishvili vs Yan

The headliner of the night will see the UFC Bantamweight Championship on the line, with the champ Merab Dvalishvili taking on Petr Yan.

After winning the belt off Sean O'Malley in a suffocating victory last September, Dvalishvili has defended his belt three times in 2025. The Georgian fighter has previously beaten Yan, winning by decision in March 2023. One of the promotion's most dominant forces, Dvalishvili enters Saturday as a -425 favourite.

Yan, the former champ, is back for another crack at the belt he lost via disqualification to Aljamain Sterling in 2021. He comes in as a +305 underdog, but he’s rediscovered his form, stacking three straight wins in the last 20 months. Those victories have put him back in the mix after a tough stretch of losses to bantamweight stars Sterling, O’Malley, and Dvalishvili.

Pantoja vs Van

The co-main event of the night will see the UFC Flyweight Championship contested between the current champion, Alexandre Pantoja, and challenger Joshua Van.

In his fifth title defense, and second in 2025, Pantoja enters as a -240 favourite, while Van comes back at +180 in his first challenge. It’s been an incredible year for the challenger, who will take part in his fifth fight in the last 12 months at UFC 323, and fought in consecutive cards three weeks apart in June’s UFC 316 and 317.

With a banner year for the UFC coming to a close, expect fireworks with both the bantamweight and flyweight championships put on the line.
