NFL Week 2 Betting Odds & Picks
NFL betting lines are tightening heading into Week 2, and the latest BET99 NFL odds feature a trio of exciting upcoming matchups.
Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills
Spread: Bills -4.5 (-110)
Moneyline: Lions +195/Bills -230
Over/Under: 53.5 (-110)
Time: Thursday, September 17 at 8:15 p.m. ET
The Week 2 slate starts with a bang, as two contenders meet to help open the Bills’ new stadium.
The Lions managed to overcome a second-half collapse last week and eek out a win against the New Orleans Saints in overtime, with their high-octane offense delivering… but unfortunately, so too did their concerning secondary. Buffalo and Josh Allen, meanwhile, finally got by a bogey team in the Houston Texans, with Allen delivering a clean, efficient game against a defense he delivered his worst performance against a season ago.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans
Spread: Texans -2.5 (-115)
Moneyline: Bengals +130/Texans -150
Over/Under: 46.5 (-110)
Time: Sunday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET
Between Joe Burrow’s health and the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense, there’s always reason to fear the floor falling out on the Bengals. But, last week’s win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was encouraging on both sides of the ball. Burrow’s protection will get a much stiffer test this time around, however, against a fearsome Texans front. A bona fide AFC contender looking to avoid an 0-2 start is a daunting opponent… but so too is a Burrow-led offense at full flight.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Denver Broncos
Spread: Broncos -2.5 (-115)
Moneyline: Jaguars +115/Broncos -135
Over/Under: 44.5 (-110)
Time: Sunday, September 20 at 4:05 p.m. ET
After closing out the 2025 regular season with eight straight wins, the Jaguars picked up where they left off in a dominant win over the moribund Cleveland Browns in Week 1. Now, they’ll head back to Mile High to face a Broncos team that faceplanted in Week 1. Denver was the location of one of Jacksonville’s more impressive wins a year ago, a 34-20 dismantling of the Broncos in late December.
Stay ahead of the game with the latest NFL betting lines, picks, and predictions, all in one place at BET99.
Power Rankings
1. Buffalo Bills
The Bills’ Super Bowl window remains wide open, and with DJ Moore seamlessly fitting into their offense out of the gate, there’s reason to be excited. Having seen off one of the tougher games on their schedule already, it’s wheels up for a high-level contender.
2. Seattle Seahawks
Sam Darnold’s hip injury is a concern, but the champs deserve respect. A Week 1 win was ugly, but skewed by Darnold’s early exit. In the league’s most brutal division, the Seahawks need to just survive their quarterback’s absence and get into the thick of their schedule.
3. Baltimore Ravens
The early returns on Jesse Minter’s tenure as head coach, and Declan Doyle’s tenure as offensive coordinator, were promising. Zay Flowers’ injury is a cause for concern in a shallow wide receiver corps, but if nothing else, the Ravens can always count on the lethal ground combo of Lamar Jackson and the ageless Derrick Henry.
4. L.A. Rams
The offseason champions ended Week 1 as the lone team to score single digits, and sent Myles Garrett to injured reserve. But, at the best of times, Week 1 is a liar. When Week 1 is taking place in Australia? Throw it out completely. The Rams, with or without Garrett, will be fine in the short term.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars, albeit against a hapless Browns team, picked up where they left off last season in Week 1. A stiffer test awaits next week, as they head to Mile High, but it was just last December when they went to the same place and picked the Broncos apart in a dominant win.
6. Houston Texans
Though they came out on the losing end of the week’s best game, hope should remain high in Houston. Its defense is a formidable beast, while tailback David Montgomery added much-needed balance to an offense that sunk it at times last season.
7. Detroit Lions
The Lions have as reliable an infrastructure as there is in the NFL, and for 30 minutes on Sunday, looked primed for a return to the upper reaches of contenders. Having created a wealth of cap space in recent days, reinforcements could be headed to Detroit’s defense, too.
8. Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts’ sink-or-swim campaign in a new offense got off to a solid start, with the Eagles gritting out a divisional game against the Commanders. It wouldn’t be Nick Sirianni’s Philly without some confounding moments, but provided the Eagles can solidify the interior of their offensive line, they should return to their bruising style.
9. Denver Broncos
Aside from the Rams, no team in the top 10 underwhelmed like the Broncos. But, divisional games are wonky at the best of times, and there’s too much to like in Denver to bail on a preseason contender. The biggest question around the Broncos will be how long Sean Payton waits before retaking playcalling from rising star coordinator Davis Webb.
10. Chicago Bears
The Bears will be a buzzsaw on offense all year long, that much is certain. But to ascend from fun playoff team to genuine contender, their defense needs to get to a place of ‘good enough.' It remains to be seen if they have the means to get there.
