NFL Week 7 Recap & Game Highlights

NFL Week 7 got underway with a thriller in the AFC North, and came to a close with a prime-time doubleheader – and in between, we saw an all-time comeback, another statement from the league’s kings, and so much more. The NFL Week 7 scores saw some wild results as the BET99 NFL odds turn over to Week 8.

After a trio of NFL odds underdogs won outright in Week 7, BET99 has your NFL weekend recap, highlighted by the biggest games from Week 7 and looking ahead to Week 8.

NFL Week 7 Recap & Game Highlights

Eagles 28 Vikings 22 (Philadelphia -2.5)

AJ Brown and Devonta Smith combined for 304 of the Philadelphia Eagles’ 361 total yards, as the defending champions saw off a crisis for another week. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings continue to hope their quarterback situation goes under the radar – just 10 months ago, they had Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold in the building… and now start Carson Wentz in place of a soft-benched JJ McCarthy.

Broncos 33 Giants 32 (New York +8.5)

A 33-point fourth quarter to win is impressive in its own right, but it’s not like the New York Giants rolled over, either. Despite a two-touchdown fourth of their own, the G-Men were on the losing end of a game for the ages — while the Denver Broncos lift themsleves to remain in the AFC picture.

Lions 24 Buccaneers 9 (Detroit -6)

Billed as the game of the week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ trip to face the Detroit Lions didn’t deliver a ton of drama or excitement – but it delivered a hugely impressive defensive showing out of the Lions. The Bucs have passed nearly every test this season, but a lifeless loss in Detroit puts them in their place in the conference hierarchy.

NFL Week 7 Power Rankings 2025

1. Kansas City Chiefs

What is old is new again.

2. Detroit Lions

The Lions faltered in a high-profile matchup with the Chiefs a week ago, but rebounded with a stellar defensive display against fellow NFC heavyweights in the Bucs. But, a so-so showing on offense is enough to drop them below Kansas City.

3. Indianapolis Colts

A hyper-efficient Colts offense rolled into Hollywood and put together a blockbuster performance, dismantling the L.A. Chargers and further cementing their status as a legitimately great team.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 7 ended in crushing fashion for the Bucs, who not only lost a game that could dictate home-field advantage in the NFC but also lost veteran wideout Mike Evans. In a deep conference, Tampa Bay can’t let it linger.

5. L.A. Rams

The L.A. Rams took a trip to London and promptly dismantled a Jacksonville Jaguars team that had ridden its luck well into the season. Nobody’s talking about the Rams, but they continue to prove their contender status in anonymity.

6. Denver Broncos

A 33-point fourth quarter lifted the Broncos over the Giants, and to an impressive 5-2 mark. Sean Payton’s offense has rarely been at its best this year and yet, it’s fair to wonder if Denver is one of a few genuinely good teams in the AFC.

7. Seattle Seahawks

In a stadium filled with fans reeling from the Mariners’ ALCS loss, the Seattle Seahawks saw off the Houston Texans in a late-night Monday clash. It wasn’t a hugely impressive performance, but keeping pace with the Rams and San Francisco 49ers is what matters here.

8. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles got a brief reprieve from their self-inflicted drama on Sunday, thanks to a gameplan that featured plenty of AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. It’s far from fixed, but the foundation remains intact for another week.

9. Buffalo Bills

The bye week came at just the right time for a team in desperate need of a reset. Now, the Buffalo Bills head to face Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers – a perfect launching point to return to the contender conversation.

10. Green Bay Packers

Pushed by a Jacoby Brisset-led Arizona Cardinals team, the Green Bay Packers remain distant from their early season highs. But, the ceiling of this team is high – and Micah Parsons joined the party on Sunday, with a trio of sacks in a breakout game.

NFL Week 7 Scores & Standings

After Week 7, there’s only one final one-loss outfit standing – and a single team still seeks their first win.

6-1 teams: Colts.

5-2 teams: Steelers, Patriots, 49ers, Broncos, Eagles, Buccaneers, Lions, Seahawks, Rams.

Winless teams: Jets.
